About
The Equine Physiotherapy Practitioner Course is tutored using a range of home study work, practical days, placement hours and final theory and practical assessments.
This course aims to give students the knowledge, confidence and clinical reasoning skills to become a safe, competent and professional equine physiotherapist, with an in-depth knowledge of both therapy and rehabilitation techniques, together with the use of additional physiotherapeutic tools to compliment equine recovery and maintenance.
This is a flexible course, where students can enrol and begin the course when they like, choosing practical days from the your4legs website to fit around a busy lifestyle. The normal course duration is 18 months to 2 years.
The finer details
Practical days are run as small groups – from X1 up to a maximum of X6 - and are booked by students from dates on the Your4legs website. - 5 rehabilitation days to learn and practise the use of different physiotherapeutic equipment and to practise building relevant rehabilitation plans and using common training aids
