About

This course enables users of robotic line marking technology to put it into operation safely and efficiently at their site and obtain the very best results from its use.

The finer details

It covers use of the robot, tablet and software, firstly addressing health and safety and the safe set-up and operation of this equipment on-site.

Learners then take a closer look at the robot and its components, then the tablet functionality, before examining the software’s capability and the use of GPS (Global Positioning System) to control location, navigation, tracking, mapping and timing.

To round off the classroom-based sessions, you’ll learn how to programme the robot to meet the needs of your organisation and maximise its impact and ability as a resource. This session covers the use of line marking templates, advanced features, and fault finding.

You’ll then head outside to learn about pre-start checks, preparation for use, paints and nozzles, and the setting out of GPS points before getting hands-on with marking.

At the end of the practical session, you’ll learn about the importance of post-operational checks, cleaning and storage.
