A high percentage of accidents involving lift trucks are where operatives are where they shouldn’t be and are struck, and seriously injured. Other accidents occur because of bad practice and an unsafe working environment.
The law requires supervisors and managers to provide adequate supervision to operatives/teams, so it is essential that supervisors and managers have enough training and knowledge to recognise safe and unsafe practices, to understand the risks involved, and how to avoid or prevent them.
Our course aims to give the supervisors and managers of lift truck operatives, the knowledge to direct their teams safely, ensure that the lift truck operations area is set up correctly, and give supervisors and managers basic knowledge of lift truck features, and how these impact safe lift truck operation.
