Our course involves a balanced mix of theory and practical work.

We'll run through pesticide legislation and the key safety issues. 

You'll be taught the basics of what the applicator is and what it can do.

Field work will then be followed by a rundown of decontamination techniques.

  • Hygiene and Personal Protective Equipment
  • The working principles of variable geometry boom and air broadcast spray application
  • Preparation of machinery for work
  • Calibration in practice
  • Mixing, filling and site work
  • Decontamination, storage and records
  • Fault finding and conclusions.

This course may require just one day if you're an experienced sprayer, or two days if you have less experience.
