Students will learn to move a full kerb set memorial, within the confines of a cemetery / church yard.

The candidates will be shown & demonstrated the memorial moving procedure.
Then be asked to prove competency through a practical/theory assessment.

Any persons working within the bereavement industry in or around cemeteries or church yards.
May that be full time or personnel used for cemetery cover.

- PPE
- Risk assessments
- Memorial moving equipment
- Working around other memorials
- Working on top of burial plots/graves
- Identifying tended non-tended graves
- Turf protection
- Grave protection
- Safe moving of memorials
- Different Religious practices and procedures
- Hazard spotting.
Other areas of interest
- Grave shoring & burial
- Use of an Excavator to excavate a grave/burial plot
- Use of a Dumper within the Cemetery and Churchyard.
