What will be covered?
By the end of this course learners will:
- Accurately describe & name all of the main points of a horse
- Assist in describing injury sites for veterinary diagnosis
- Accurately describe the of the horse and the technical traits associated with .
- Confidently decide on a suitable bedding material for different types of horses.
- Have the skills and knowledge of mucking out techniques
- Have a basic understanding of the signs of good health in a horse
- Be able to check for the signs of good health to ensure they fall within industry standards, and what to do if they don’t

- Have a basic understanding of sward management & the care of grazing
- Clearly identify dangerous and unsuitable fencing

- Have a good knowledge of the digestive system of the horse
