This training is for all those engaged in conducting vegetation management work in proximity to overhead powerlines.What will be covered?
By the end of this training you will have covered:
- Identifying trees and their characteristics in relation to overhead power lines
- Tree health and biosecurity
- Inspection, maintenance and use of insulated rods
- Rope-assisted felling in proximity to overhead power lines
- Working from rope and harness in proximity to overhead power lines
- Working from a mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) in proximity to overhead power lines.
