Any work involving the use of a chainsaw carries an element of risk.
This refresher training course looks to update your skills and knowledge in using a chainsaw from a MEWP.
You will carry out practical activities and gain an understanding of any new methods of work as well as when these should be applied.
Operating a chainsaw from a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) is no exception.
Our course is designed to help minimise that risk.
It's appropriate for anyone aged 16 or over.

All the major aspects of the original training course will be touched upon to ensure that you can continue to work in a safe and efficient manner.

Who should attend?
This course is intended for persons over the age of 16 already experienced in use of a chainsaw from a MEWP and who have completed a Use of a chainsaw from a MEWP course.
Those wishing to attend this training course must be physically fit and not suffering from vertigo or similar conditions or on medication that could affect their safety.
What will be covered?
By the end of this course, you will have updated your skills and knowledge of Using a chainsaw from a MEWP.
You will also be able to demonstrate that you have refreshed your original training, in line with HSE guidance documents.
