To celebrate the upcoming launch of our new Companion Animal training suite, which includes a combination of e-learning and face-to-face training courses for all pet professionals, we will be hosting a FREE information packed webinar event.
The webinar will feature:
- An introduction from Lantra’s e-learning team
- An overview on the brand-new suite of courses
- A discussion led by the Pet Industry Federation on the importance of training and education
- A discussion led by SQP specialists Vetpol
- A discussion on raising awareness of puppy welfare and training from Our Family Dog.
Following the successful launch of the free ‘Getting a Puppy’ e-learning course, we have worked closely with our trusted Industry partners to create training and qualifications that aim to help raise standards and professionalism in the sector.
The suite of courses will cover vital topics for pet professionals including canine communication and behaviour, microchipping, anatomy and physiology and first aid.
The training has been created with the aim of establishing a recognised standard in the industry, allowing individuals to prove they are working to the highest level for both potential clients and insurers.
Sean Duffy, Head of Industry Partnerships (Companion Animals) commented: “With regulations relating to working with animals changing over the last couple of years, it’s essential that people are aware of the requirements and that there is a structured way for people to meet these requirements. This is why Lantra have worked with stakeholders from the industry to create this first suite of courses to support the sector.”
