Redwings Horse Sanctuary – sponsoring the Animal Care category 

 

 

Redwings is one of the largest equine welfare charities in the UK with more than 1300 rescued horses in its direct care and over 700 more living out in loving guardian homes. We are also a significant landowner and employer in the land sector with over 300 staff and volunteers, the majority of whom work directly with our horses on a daily basis at one of our centres across the country including one in Warwickshire and several in Norfolk.

British Association for Shooting and Conservation – sponsoring the Environment, Conservation, Game and Wildlife category

 

 

The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) is the largest shooting organisation in the UK and a representative body for sporting shooting and associated conservation.

 

It has approximately 150,000 members, is governed by an elected Council, and has specialist full-time teams covering everything from firearms and land management to education and political affairs.

The Floristry Trade Club, established by Interflora, serves as an online community and resource hub dedicated to florists, flower shop owners, aspiring florists, and basically everyone in the floral industry.

 

The Trade Club offers invaluable advice and resources aimed at helping floral businesses flourish and enhancing individual floristry skills.

 

Recognising a gap in the formal recognition of those studying floristry, the Trade Club became involved in the LBELs to ensure that the achievements of the next generation of florists receive the recognition they deserve.

 

 

 


The Pony Club – sponsoring the Equine and Farriery category 

 

 

The Pony Club is proud to support the Land Based and Environment Learner Awards. As a youth development charity, we aim to give our members opportunities to learn and develop skills that will support their future careers, whether in the equestrian sector or wider.

 

With over 30,000 members in the UK and 100,000 worldwide, we are a global organisation promoting fun and friendship through the shared passion for horses and ponies.   

Our branches and centres run a huge range of activities, including camps, competitions and un-mounted sessions.

 

Our progressive testing system is highly respected across the industry, supported by numerous achievement badges and awards. The Pony Club is all about Fun, Friendship, Horsemanship and Sport.

The We Are Land-based Engineering Initiative was launched in 2022 by the Land-based Engineering Training and Education Committee (LE-TEC).

Blue Cross is a national charity that has been helping sick, injured and homeless pets since 1897. The charity helps thousands of pets and their people by providing veterinary care, expert behaviour advice and finding homeless pets loving families.
