Agri Leadership Week 2023
is here - find out more
about training and
development

We're supporting Agri Leadership Week 2023, a joint social media campaign which takes place between Monday 15 - Sunday 21 May, spotlighting opportunities for individuals to develop their management and leadership skills.

In such a fast-paced and demanding industry, it's often easy to forget about your own continual professional development. Therefore, this campaign is hoping to raise awareness about how training opportunities can help improve personal and professional growth, along with individuals’ capacity as an employer and manager.

According to a 2022 survey conducted by by TIAH and the University of Exeter, nearly 75% of employers have not carried out any formal management or leadership training themselves in the last three years.

Just under 50% of people surveyed felt that all employers would benefit from leadership training too.

As a result, we're aiming to drive awareness of the diverse range of leadership courses available for those in the agricultural sector.

If you're looking to develop your career path, you can find out more about the range of courses available for leaders and managers in farming and growing here

The Institute for Agriculture and Horticulture are also hosting a "Supporting a Diverse Workforce" webinar on Monday 15 May at 1pm to help support a more diverse workforce. You can book your place here.
