Lantra Sector Skills Council, with funding from the East of England LSC and Train to Gain, has produced the Afuturein the environmental and land-based industries careers DVD to showcase some of the career opportunities available.
Kieren Drane, of G’s Marketing in Shropshire, stars in the DVD to highlight what you might do if you worked as a Production Manager in horticulture. Operations Director, Bill Simpson, added: “In this sort of role you have got to remain calm, be analytical and be technically good at what you do, but most of all you have got to be able to man manage and get the best out of your team, which Kieren is good at.”
