Lantra and Land-Force, the UK's only jobsite dedicated to all types of work in the land-based sector, have teamed up to offer you a Skills Passport.
The Skills Passport is an innovative tool that enables individuals in land-based industries to improve their employability and shape their career. It is a straight forward way of recording all the individual’s skills, practical experiences, achievements, and qualifications – a clear must in industries where many skills are learned in the workplace and not in the classroom.
Tony Bird, UK Head of Business Development at Lantra, said: “The Skills Passport is a fantastic tool as it is based on industry approved job role standards, which means you can be sure that employers and employees everywhere are working towards the same skill sets. It uses a simple tick box approach to build an accurate and comprehensive profile to highlight the individual’s true capabilities, whatever level of skills they have.”
Sarah von Etzdorf, Marketing Executive of Land-Force added: “We are focused on bringing employers and candidates together. We understand the importance of a skilled workforce and the Skills Passport is perfect in helping all those working in the land-based industries to authenticate and verify the skill level they have achieved.”
The Skills Passport is an online system that can be accessed twenty-four hours a day via the internet, keeping it secure and making it impossible to lose. To find out more about the Skills Passport, visit www.land-force.org.uk, or call 0870 770 1107.
