Treework National Occupational Standards and Job Profiles

During 2006, Lantra began working closely with representatives from the Trees and Timber industry to review the relevant Job Profiles and National Occupational Standards (NOS).

To ensure the Job Profiles and National Occupational Standards (NOS) best reflect how industry operates and can easily be understood by everyone, Lantra held several meetings throughout the United Kingdom. The meetings were to discuss developments and required amendments needed to the Job Profiles and current NOS. For more information regarding NOS, please click here.

Thank you to those of you who attended the meeting on the 30th October to review the Treework job profiles and National Occupational Standards.  The meeting was very productive and the information drawn from the meeting will help to move forward with the review of the National Occupational Standards and development of qualifications and the Apprenticeship Framework.
