During the later part of 2006 Lantra began working closely with representatives from the Livestock industry to review the National Occupational Standards (NOS) in Livestock Production.
To ensure the National Occupational Standards best reflect how industry operates and can easily be understood by everyone, Lantra held several meetings throughout the United Kingdom to discuss required amendments to the current National Occupational Standard, as well as specific new areas requiring development.
The final phase of the 18th month review is the wider industry consultation prior to submission for approval. This involves posting the draft National Occupational Standards on the website for employers, training providers and any other industry expert to review.
Whatever your specialism within the industry, we would like you to comment on the sections which are relevant to your skills and experience:
The closing date for comments on the draft units and Qualification Structure is 30th September.
