Lantra's Board of Trustees plays a pivotal role by strategically steering Lantra's work for the benefit of the 17 industries in the sector. Chaired by Chief Executive of the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, Gordon McGlone, the Board is made up of employers and learning providers within the environmental and land-based sector. We have representation from all four UK nations. Trustees bring with them a multitude of experience from major PLCs, small business, local authorities and not-for-profit organisations.

Contribution to the strategic direction of the organisation to develop an effective Sector Skills Council for the land-based and environmental sector
